Toddlers will be immersed in a language-rich environment essential for developing both receptive and expressive language skills. This program includes high-interest books, stories, songs, poems, and chants that will amuse and delight toddlers. 

The activity choices in the physical development domain provide toddlers with fun physical challenges, action songs, and games that will build coordination, balance, and muscle strength.

Cognitive development includes engaging activities that support cause-and-effect relationships and problem solving to develop foundational skills for lifelong learning.

Toddlers will build confidence with a special emphasis on social-emotional development, learn impulse control, and develop social skills while caregivers build trusting relationships with children through one-on-one, partner, and small-group interactions.

Frog Street Curriculum provides intentional instruction in key areas of development for children ages 36-48 months to effectively continue on the path to kindergarten readiness. Frog Street Threes enhances literacy development by offering a formal introduction to the alphabet. It also creates a “social bridge” as three-year-olds begin to join in play with others; and it lays the cornerstones for understanding foundational math concepts.

Children Study Their World (CSW) is an early childhood curriculum for preschool, based on principles of project-based inquiry and driven by evidence-based practices that build teacher capacity and support successful implementation. 

CSW consists of eight interdisciplinary, content-rich projects that build upon children's knowledge and increase in complexity.

CSW was developed by the Center for Early Childhood Education and Intervention (CECEI) with funding from the Maryland State Department of Education, Division of Early Childhood.
